Tools I Use

 

Everyone needs to utilize the tools at their disposal to realize success.  Building passive income through internet based properties is no different.  Below you will find some of the tools I use along with an honest review of their features, usefulness to me, and the advantages they may have over other competing products.  Furthermore, I will indicate for each resource the order in which it should be purchased as well as its relevance to my process of building passive income.

Now then, let me say that none of the information you will find here has been be skewed by a desire to turn a quick buck.  These are truly my honest opinions.  However, I feel leaving money on the table is a bit silly, given the whole purpose of this blog.  So, affiliate links are in use.  There ya go…

So without further ado, here are the list of the tools I use and recommend.

 

Keyword Research – Long Tail Pro

Relevance:   Indispensable!

This is, without a doubt, the easiest recommendation I will make in this section.  I use LTP for all my keyword research and have been ecstatic about it since I first jumped in during its beta.  The story goes like this…

I had been using a free trial of the “big dog” in the marketplace and, quite frankly, was about to say to heck with this whole thing due to the fact it was taking me a half hour or longer to research a single keyword.  Luckily, rather than throwing in the towel, I did some research for alternatives.  Mostly I found people with the same issue I was experiencing, however, I did find one new piece of software that had just been launched.  It boasted ultra fast searches and the ability to research multiple keywords at once.  I was excited!

I was also a little hesitant.  Having just been burnt on a free trial, I was not too eager to drop cash on a similar product until I was sure it was going to be worth it.  In the end, good reviews and a 60 day return policy won out and I bought.

Boy am I glad I made that decision!  Now, honestly, if you offered me $1000 to give up LTP I would tell you where you could go.  It is at the center of all of my niche keyword and competition research and I couldn’t be happier with the results I get from LTP!
